There's always the fun of having outfits that you can dress up or dress down with the help of accessories. In the top picture, the use of pointed-rimmed sunglasses, a classy bun and nude pumps made the outfit a bit dressier. I switched the nude pumps for nude flats, aviators on, and added a lace, boho style headband to go for a more casual look. These both are definite summer outfits for any time of the day, especially the color of the summer: turquoise.
